There are still lots of ways to read my books.
Firstly you could use one of the free kindle reading apps including for Windows PC, Mac, Android phone, Blackberry, iPhone, iPad and Windows Phone 7.
Alternatively, if you don't want to use kindle, you can still buy the book from Amazon and simply select "Transfer via Computer" from the "Deliver to" menu on the product page - this will save the file to your computer.
[If you've already ordered it, don't panic, just go to your Amazon account Manage Your Kindle page, find the book in the Your Orders section at the bottom, and again select the "Transfer via Computer" from the "Deliver to" menu. Save the file when your browser prompts you. Simple!]
Once you have the file, just download and install the free program Calibre.
Open Calibre and click "Add books" from the top left, then select the file you downloaded from Amazon. Once it's in Calibre then select it and click "Convert books". Select the type of file you want to convert it to - most eReaders use the ePub format. Simply upload the converted file to your eReader. Note that Calibre has its own free eReader included with it if you want to read it on your computer.
